2008 was a very teachable year! We moved into our new home January 2008 after making the decision to let our other house go, and went through many financial tribulations, but when it was all said and done, we were able to realize it was JUST money and a year later, we made it! what a great lesson.
2008 taught us how to live within our means, to budget, learn to do without, be more conservative, realized in many cases, less is more. This was our first "credit card free" Christmas!
I have been reflecting a lot about my resolutions over the last couple days. I have some very basic simple ones, but I also have some undefined not so simple resolutions. So I realized in order to live out my resolutions, I need to first clarify with myself what I've learned from 2008 and how I can apply it to 2009 going forward.
