Tahoe with the GANG

Had a fun filled weekend in Tahoe with some great couples! Spent the weekend with the gang, hanging by the pool, tables, bar, and food. Consumed plenty of Alcohol over the 3 day span, and dumped too much money into the machines.

Jordan's adnoidectomy and tonsillectomy

Jordan had lost hearing in his left ear after experiencing an ear infection. After evaluation, they decided to do bi-lateral tubes, and remove his adnoids and tonsills.

Poor guy was so worried about being put under anesthesia. When we met with the doctor for a pre-visit, Jordan expressed his concern. The Doctor told Jordan to blink and open his eyes, that this is how fast it will feel to him. He then told Jordan that it was going to cost the Doctor an hour, and feel like a century for mom and dad.

Goodbye My Sweet Grams

After spending 38 Years and then losing this AMAZING woman, I have such an aching hole in my heart.

My Grams taught me SO much, and gave SO much of herself to me. She was the most selfless person I have ever met. She was a woman of strength, courage, and compassion. She was my rock... she was my constant, and I am so grateful I had the pleasure of loving her.

Although I know the ache will never go away, and that I will not be able to pick up the phone and thank her, I have peace in knowing that I have the opportunity to carry her legacy forward.

All that we owe our parents and grandparents, we repay through our children.

4th of July Reno Track meet

We went to Reno for a weekend get-away over the 4th of July weekend.  We ran at an AAU track meet during the day on Saturday, where Noah ran the 100M and 200M, Pj ran the 400H with a 58 second PR,  and Jordan ran the 100M and 200M and PR'd in the 100 with a 12.8.

After the meet, we headed back to the hotel pool for a swim and then hit an All you can EAT buffet where the kids went crazy!  King Crab legs, Oysters, Prime rib, Pesto mashed potatoes, Noah's favorite Pepperoni Pizza and MORE!!  After dinner we climbed into bed and watched "She's out of my League"

On Sunday, the 4th of July, we spent the day at Wild Island Family Adventure Park.  We had hot fun playing in the wave pool and zipping down the slides.  Of course Paul had all these rules that we must follow if we ride with him to ensure we got AIR!!
